Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about QR creation, downloads, plans and printed work.
Do static QR codes expire?+
No. They keep working as long as the content they encode remains useful and reachable.
Can I change a destination after printing?+
Only with a dynamic QR code. Static content is fixed in the pattern itself.
Is there a free plan?+
Yes. Static creation is free, and a free account includes a small managed allowance.
Which download format should I use?+
PNG is convenient for everyday use; SVG is ideal when artwork must scale cleanly for print.
How should I test a QR code?+
Scan the exact downloaded file on two phones, then test a proof at its final size and material.
What happens at the analytics allowance?+
The redirect keeps working, but new analytics are not recorded until the allowance resets or the plan changes.
Can I add a logo?+
Yes. Static logo tools are free and processed in your browser. Functional logos are available for managed codes; persistent custom managed logos require secure object storage.
Does QR Yours store static content?+
Static generation happens in your browser. Signed-out downloads are not saved by QR Yours. While signed in, successful downloads save their encoded content and design to your account for access across browsers; unsaved drafts remain local.
